Searching for all the nice there’s in life. The E6 clutch (illustrated above) is my everyday go to. I love that it’s a glossy and simple purse that matches all my day-to-day essentials. When it came to rendering the illustration, we thought it could be nice to point out the vary of colours that had been new for this season and likewise highlight the subtle shimmer on the skins.
The Route: We used the Andrew Skurka guide, along with CalTopo maps and the app “Offline Maps” which has USGS topo maps you can download to make use of offline. I’m now counting down the times earlier than I head off to Yunnan to do a solo hike to the unexplored Gongsenlongba glacier on the west side of Kawakarpo. As I’ve said before, this can be a little bit of a problem because it lies in Tibet – so I must entry it in a discreet manner from the Yunnan side of the mountain. Because of Google Earth, I’ve found a clear route from the Mekong (Lancang) aspect, which seems to have several shelters/huts en route. This principally follows the kora in reverse for a couple of days, then diverts south after the Shola Go (ie on the Tibetan aspect) to go across country towards the lesser 6509m peak Cogar Lapka. The glacier lies between this peak and one other called Godanilaka (see the excellent map by Tomatsu Nakamura above).
